Apple Harvest Season: An Artists’ Photo Album
It’s been all Apples these last few weeks in my art studio. Apples are one of my very favorite fruits and I love October when the harvest fills the orchards and the markets. It has been a warm and beautiful early fall in Minneapolis. I have been enjoying walks in the city parks, books from the public library, crunchy apples with crunchy peanut butter, and the last of the zinnias and tomatoes in our garden. In my paintings I’ve been pondering apples as a symbol full of interpretations; and the shades of bright apple red have been very appealing to my eye. I am pleased to have a lovely little apple print for sale in my Etsy shop. I hope this photo album and my artwork give you just a little bit of extra joy this harvest season.
